A Gift

If I died tomorrow, I would know I was loved,
For a relationship so pure, you were sent from above.
I'd still feel you with me, and still call your name,
But would you hear me? Would you still feel the same?
Searching and finding, what I thought I had missed,
But I never imagined, anything could ever top this.
You believed in me, and gave me your all,
Be it courage or strength, when I started to fall.
For what your love did to me, I gave you myself,
I let go off my fears, and trusted no one else.
Even if I died tomorrow, I'd still foresee,
That you and I, were ALWAYS meant to be!

Before you faint, read on. Obviously, the poem above is not written by me. I can’t reach this level even in 100 lives. But it was written by my sweet friend and gifted to me on my 20th bday (09/09/09) and means more to me than the Ferrari gifted by Schumi which is still lying at the customs as none of us want to pay the 125% import duty on it.

Anywayz today is my friend’s birthday and all I have to gift her back is this poem. There is no use of keeping this to myself as I am way too retarded to value it. I have decided not to get a copyright on this and pass it on to all of you to pass it on to other friend’s of yours on their birthdays as a self composed stuff, but dare you not forget the poetess behind this beautiful work. I hope all of you who still have the telepathic connection with the Almighty going on (i have just myself to talk to on the other end) pray for my friend's life to be full of happiness and success.

Being the birthday girl won’t spare her from my antics. Using my uber cool analytical techniques, I deduced that the only reason for her parents to get a birth certificate claiming the date as 18 june could be an extended maternity leave. Its way too good a coincidence for her birthday to clash with HOLI considering her nicknames like Gubara, Pichkari etc.
